1. 1. Experience: Last 5 years of work history (in order)
   2. References: (1) online reference survey- must be your current/most recent supervisor
      1. If you’re a current teacher, please make sure we have your most recent principal reference, plus an additional reference from an Assistant Principal or Department Head.
      2. If student teaching or a recent graduate, we require a reference from your university supervisor and cooperating teacher.
      3. Non-traditional teaching candidates should request references from 2 most current supervisors.
   3. Application Materials:
      1. Resume
      2. Official college transcript. Please note, you will need to have an official copy of your transcript sent to the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC).
      3. Pass the GA Educators Ethics Assessment 360 exam and upload the certificate once completed. You can register here if you have not yet taken the exam.
      4. For certified candidates, upload all valid teaching certificates.

IMPORTANT: Please visit www.gapsc.com (Georgia Professional Standards Commission) to set up your “My PSC Account”. While transcripts issued directly to the candidate from the institution may be uploaded to your GCPS application to show proof of a degree, official transcripts must be sent directly to the GaPSC from the appropriate institution(s), for certification purposes. Official electronic transcripts will need to be ordered and sent directly to the GaPSC to: Mail@gapsc.org

PLEASE READ: Provisional Teachers Only If a teaching job offer is made, a provisional certificate is issued for one year and you must enroll into a GaPSC approved teacher preparation program in the field you are teaching to extend the provisional certificate for two additional years.
